In skin resurfacing, the physician defines the specific treatment area and uses the laser to remove superficial layers of the skin one layer at a time. The laser allows extraordinary control of the treatment and is safe enough to use even on the delicate skin of the eyelids, frown lines, and crow’s feet. The procedure is often combined with eyelid surgery, Botox injections, or fillers to provide optimum results. The treatments take 45 to 60 minutes and are performed in our office surgical suite.
