Dr Burks should be named a saint! I walked into his office unexpectedly when my oncologist took so much from a “mole” on my face that she was afraid to sew me up fearing tremendous scarring. The wound was covered with bandages while still open as I rushed to his office for emergency ocular plastic surgery. After many hours and many, many, many stitches, we all finally went home well after normal business hours. All the while, Dr Burks and his staff stayed caring and professional, never making me feel like I got in their way of going home early. And what a fabulous job Dr Burks did on my face! Just a few months later, the stitches are nearly invisible and the shape of my eye area and entire cheek are nearly back to normal (all sewn up by Dr Burks). On all my follow up visits, Dr Burks and all his staff were very thorough, informative and took the time not only to tell me how to take care of my wounds, but why I was doing it, and what the results should be so I can make sure I was progressing correctly between appointments. Carol and Marsha and all the office staff are absolutely fabulous (I feel bad that I don’t remember all their names). I highly recommend Dr Burks if you are looking for a Phenomenol Doctor!

As a pilot my vision is absolutely critical. Dr. Burks did a Lasik evaluation several years ago and told me I was not a good candidate for Lasik but should consider lens replacement when the cataracts had advanced. I appreciated his honest evaluation and friendly demeanor. So now the time had come and I returned to Dr Burks for cataract removal and lens replacement. The procedure was absolutely painless and quick. The results are unbelievable with 20/20 vision both far and near, with no glasses–a first since third grade! Dr Burks, his entire staff, and the high-tech facility rank Number One among all medical professionals that have provided care over the course of my 65 years. Thank You Dr Burks, Marsha, and the entire team!!

Just had my Lasik done by Dr. Burks and I am extremely happy with my results. The procedure was quick and completely painless. The results were almost immediate and recovery was rapid. The doctors and staff were so friendly and comforting. This was the best thing I have ever done and I would recommend it to anyone. Big thanks to Dr. Burks and the staff at the Center for Lasik.

I was seen by Dr. Burks to check if I am a candidate for Lasik. I was very impressed with Dr. Burks’ expertise and honesty. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining why I am not a candidate for Lasik and gave me great advice on improving my eye’s condition. Thank you, Dr. Burks, be blessed!

I had my LASIK done a month ago. It was wonderful experience from the very beginning. Aimee welcomed me with her great smile and made me feel at home right away. Later I met with Dr. Young and Dr. Burks for the consultation. They were great – explained and answered all my /about a million
/ questions and eased all my concerns. Thank you all!!! There are no words to express how wonderful you all are – staff and doctors. I could never believe that my vision can be 20/15 less than 24 hours after the surgery. It is amazing!

DR BURKS & GAILITIS AND STAFF ARE SIMPLY THE BEST! MY LASIK SURGERY WAS AWESOME, PAINLESS, AND RESTORED MY VISON TO 20/20. I WAS TREATED LIKE A GUEST, FROM THE TIME I MADE THE APPOINTMENT, THRU SURGERY AND POST OP. THEIR EXPERTISE AND INNATE CARING IS WHY THEY ARE THE BENCHMARK IN OPHTHALMOLOGY AND HAVE HAD A STELLAR RATING IN THE COMMUNITY FOR YEARS! GIVE YOURSELF A GIFT. DON’T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN THIS WHEN SEEKING EYE CARE. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!

I want to let you all know how glad I am that I chose this office for my Lasik procedure. After wearing corrective glasses and contacts for over 50 years, I’m excited that I’m really seeing the world for the first time in my life. I won’t need to miss out on things I want to do because of my eyesight any more. It has been 6 days now since my surgery and although I am still healing, I have never seen better. I don’t need any reading glasses for small print and my far vision is fantastic. My vision far exceeds
my expectations. I am back to work (on my computer) with no problems.
You are all just wonderful! I felt comfortable immediately and knew I would get the Absolute best care to be had anywhere. Thank you a million times. I have gotten my Christmas present early this year!

Having my lasik procedure done was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My vision is better than perfect and I wake up every day thankful that this procedure is available and the Staff at the Center for Lasik is phenomenal. Thank you a million times over!

I can see. I can actually see without the use of contact lenses or eye glasses. It’s amazing what Technology can do. I now have 20/20 vision!!!! I’m so thankful! You all made me feel comfortable during my procedure. I can’t thank you enough. I would recommend this office to anyone I know that is considering having lasik.

As a photographer, visual artist and scuba diver, seeing is an integral part of my profession. You could say I “see” for a living … so it was critical that this procedure work as well as all the reports said. It has — overwhelmingly.

I want to thank you for the great job you did on my bilateral LASIK surgery. One day later, I was driving without glasses and four days later I was back in the operating room performing cataract surgery. You and your staff did a fantastic job and I am glad I trusted you with my eyes.

The day I walked into your office for my LASIK procedure, I was legally blind. The next morning when I came in for my follow-up exam, I had perfect 20/20 vision. Thank you for giving me my sight.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old. I can’t believe that after 26 years of needing corrective eyewear, I can actually see without using anything. My doctors in New York said I would never be a candidate because of my astigmatism, but here I am!
